Security Service
Colorado security and protective services
QI security officers provide premier security and protective services
throughout the Colorado front range.
One of the main differences in our company as opposed to other
security companies is that the Director of Security and supervisors
have work experience in police operations and procedures, and many
of our security officers are ex-military NCOs.
Being in business is tough enough without the additional concerns
of
loss of revenue due to property damage, vandalism, burglary
and
employee theft.
Businesses also have concerns about their
customers’ safety
and the security of customers’ vehicles while patronizing
their business.
We understand these concerns. Most of our security officers have
backgrounds in law enforcement and criminal justice.
The QI difference
Our company operates much like a police department.
Supervisors are
only promoted after completing one year of satisfactory
service, and successfully passing exams that require them to
know state statutes,
liquor laws, and local ordinances; citizen’s
arrest and the detaining of individuals; how to protect the integrity
of crime scenes.
Our officers attend classes taught by police officers to obtain
required licenses. Our security officers are trained in the skill
of observation and report writing. All of our officers are taught
the continuum of force, defensive tactics, and the proper use of
weapons.
In addition, our security officers are professionally trained
and certified
to carry weapons. Our officers must pass proficiency
tests knowing the proper use of weapons. Our officers attend ongoing
training classes.
